Greetings from Thalia Elementary School, home of the Eagles! Our school is located at 421 Thalia Road in the heart of the city of Virginia Beach. Thalia Elementary School is a fully accredited school, and our building houses approximately 630 students. Thalia's mission is to provide educational experiences to meet our children's unique needs, to prepare them for life in a changing society, and to nurture in them a lifetime love for learning. We have a strong volunteer program with over 2000 hours logged each year. Special events include: Math Night in October, Grandparents’ Day in November, Family Literacy Night in January, Physical Education Show in March, Field Day in June, and numerous musical presentations by our students throughout the school year. We are very happy that you are here!

Directions to Thalia: Traveling west from the oceanfront on Virginia Beach Boulevard, go past the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library. At the next intersection, turn right on Thalia Road. The school is on the left after passing the fire station. Office hours are 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM.
